Rutgers Newark
Rutgers University in Newark offers two separate campuses in the city of Newark -- the Rutgers-Newark Campus and the Rutgers Health Sciences Campus at Newark -- Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey, distinguishes itself as one of the nation’s most esteemed public research universities. The world-famous Institute of Animal Behavior, the Institute of Jazz Studies, the Paul Robeson Center, the Dana Library, and the Law and Criminal Justice Libraries are also integral parts of university.

New Jersey Institute of Technology: 
The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), the state's leading technological institution, includes the Newark College of Engineering, the New Jersey School of Architecture, the College of Science and Liberal Arts, and the School of Industrial Management. NJIT offers 125 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in six specialized schools instructed by expert faculty. With an enrollment of almost 10,000 graduate and undergraduate students, NJIT offers small-campus intimacy with the resources of a major public research university.

Essex County College: 
Essex County College (ECC) is a fully accredited, two-year community college providing educational opportunities for U.S. citizens and exchange students throughout the world. Courses are offered on a full-time or part-time basis year-round as part of day, evening, and weekend programs, making the school an ideal resource for working adults.

Berkeley College:
The Newark Campus offers life in one location, including state-of-the-art classrooms, student services, a library, an Academic Support Center, and a student lounge. The campus is within walking distance to major employers, retailers, government offices, and cultural attractions.
