Green Fest Newark seeks to inspire and empower Newark's consumers, communities, and businesses to work, play, and live green. Green Fest seeks to become a 100% sustainable festival with zero environmental impact, to increase the visibility of environmental issues the city is facing, and to encourage community members to take measures to protect our natural resources. Attendees are encouraged to walk, ride bikes/scooters, rideshare, or take public transportation to the event to decrease their carbon footprint. Workshops will provide eco-friendly and fun learning tools, vendors will demonstrate sustainable and green products, natural food chefs will provide demos and so much more!
