Professional and amateur musicians offer a range of musical genres, from country to pop, classical, blues, reggae, rock, jazz, Latino, R&B, folk, and more
Visual artists showcase works and perform live demonstrations
Hands-on music and arts activities for the kids
Food trucks stationed throughout the neighborhood selling local snacks and treats
Silent auction, event merchandise, and other refreshments for sale, with proceeds going toward Newark School of the Arts
PorchFest is a fully walkable event – attendees walk, ride bikes or scooters, or push strollers as they move from one stage to another. Forest Hill is easily accessible via the Newark LightRail (Bloomfield Ave, Davenport, and Branch Brook Park Stations) and Newark city bus line. Street parking is also available on neighboring streets.
