The SoundWater Gala is a fundraising event hosted by Opo’s Canon, a Black owned production company based in Newark. The gala will take place on Saturday, February 7, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM in downtown Newark, New Jersey.
Sponsored by GlassRoots and Art Front Galleries and presented in partnership with Brothers Building a Better Nation, a nonprofit mental health organization serving young men and their families in Newark, the event supports the creation of a community center providing mental health services for at risk youth. The program features over 20 artists, a live auction, music, performance art, film screenings, and refreshments.
