    LIPS { Living Incubator Performance Space }, Ironbound Community Corporation and #becomenewark are co-hosting a film screening of what happened in Brooklyn. Come learn about the ongoing housing fight in Newark to protect communities and keep residents in their homes. "My Brooklyn" directed by Kelly Anderson Produced by Allison Lirish Dean. A documentary about the ways public policy is fueling gentrification and displacement in Brooklyn. Filmaker will be in attendance. Have you heard people saying that Newark is new Brooklyn? What does gentrification mean to you? Please, come to this film series to learn about gentrification and how it affects local communities. Newark is undergoing rapid development. Some are excited for change. Others are worried about being displaced. Whether you agree with what is happening or not, residents should have a say in the development happening in their communities.
