    Hurricane Relief Efforts


    Dear GNCVB Friends,

    The City of Newark and Greater Newark Convention & Visitors Bureau are rallying together and asking for your help in supporting our brothers and sisters effected by Hurricane Maria.

    We at the GNCVB have joined with Councilman Ramos, Councilman Quintana and Mayor Baraka to help raise necessary funds to assist the strong and resilient people of Puerto Rico and we are hoping you will consider making a monetary donation as well. The goal is to raise $100,000 for the American Red Cross relief effort in Puerto Rico.

    Together we can save lives and help Puerto Rico rebuild but WE NEED YOUR HELP

    From October 3-6 the Newark Visitors Center located at 58 Park Place, First Floor will serve as a drop off location for Hurricane Maria relief donations:

    The Visitor Center will accept:
    1. New Clothing
    2. Blankets
    3. Bottled Water
