The Christmas Tree at Championship Plaza

The official start of the holiday season in Newark is marked each year by Newark Downtown District’s (“NDD”) Holiday Tree Lighting in Prudential Center’s Championship Plaza. In partnership with the New Jersey Devils, each year NDD adds a ton of sparkle to downtown Newark by lighting a forty-foot holiday tree in the plaza outside of Newark’s arena, “The Rock.” Make sure to visit the tree for a cute photo op with friends and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.
