    Enjoy the Splendor of Blossoms in Bloom at Branch Brook Park

    Newark has the nation’s largest collection of cherry blossoms, and each April more than five thousand Japanese cherry blossom trees burst into bloom and turn Branch Brook Park pink and white. Spend a few hours enjoying the expansive green space with, with the majestic Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart as a backdrop. There’s hardly a more romantic space in the city.
