En route to the Cherry Blossoms

For an optimal experience at the Branch Brook Park cherry blossom festival, your ideal route is to hop on the light rail and disembark at Branch Brook Park station. From there, a stroll northwards through the park will lead you to the welcome center. After enjoying the sights, a delightful walk southward awaits. On your return journey, consider a stop at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, a historic landmark dating back to the 1890s. You can conveniently catch your ride back from Orange Street station nearby.

Best Spots to View the Cherry Blossoms

More Space and a Bit of Walking— While there are fewer Cherry Blossom Trees in the middle of the park known as the Northern Division

Be Surrounded — The most densely populated area is around the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center in the Extension Division.

Great Scenic Photos — There is a smaller grove in the southern division known as Prudential Concert Grove.
