Kick It In Newark During FIFA World Cup 2026™

June 11 to July 19, 2026

Newark Welcomes The World!

This summer, the New York and New Jersey region will be buzzing with energy as it hosts eight FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches, including the final. While the matches aren’t in Newark, the city provides an authentic, vibrant, and unforgettable experience for fans and visitors alike.

A True Sports City With Deep Roots.

You can probably name the teams that have represented Newark, past and present, from our hockey champions the NJ Devils, to the New York Sirens of the PWHL playing at Prudential Center, and the Newark Bears, our hometown heroes of the past. While Newark is widely known for its arts and culture,  this city also has a deep-rooted love for sports and soccer.

From the historic Ironbound Soccer Club, a proud MLS NEXT member that continues to develop local and international talent, to St. Benedict's Prep Boys Soccer team, recognized as one of the top high school programs in the United States.

Just a short ride across the river, the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer and Gotham FC of the National Women’s Soccer League call Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison home.
