Kilnforming: Explore various techniques of flat glass art. Often called "warm glass", you’ll learn the science and process of fusing, slumping and kiln casting glass. After an introduction to the kilns, create a "bas" or low relief tile in a glass kiln casting project; a multi-step project using clay, plaster mold making, and flower pot casting. Ages 12- 18; no experience necessary
Glassblowing: The art of glass blowing originated in the Middle East about 2000 years ago, and in many ways, the tools and glass-blowing technique used today are the same ones used thousands of years ago.
